So, a little over a week ago I got a call about doing some photos for Cameron, a skateboarder, for a magazine. Cameron, unlike the majority, skates without seeing a thing. Although he doesn't really need the cane while skateboarding, he more so uses it to notify the folks around him that he is in fact blind. Before skating an area he's not familiar with, Cameron will map out the environment with his mind and then skate it by memory.
It was definitely an honor getting to know him, and the story that he has been living out. He walks through life with confidence and sincerity. Here are some photos from the shoot:

I like the aspect of photo journalism in some of your shoots. Great job in capturing this young man's personality.
